Taking the #vanlife risk was nothing we jumped into, we had been planning, saving, brainstorming, and dreaming of it for 13 months before we actually hit the road. 7 of those months consisted of Nate fixing the van mechanically and building out the inside quarters! But dang, now we don’t know why we waited so long. The people we have met so far have turned into lifelong friends and we are so grateful for each and every one of them.
Rachel and I met a little over two years ago and within a year of knowing each other, we have traveled to so many places. We both saw an opportunity for something more, NOTLIVINGFORTHEWEEKEND. We decided to risk it all and sell a house, leave a job of 10 years, and sell 80% of our personal belongings all for the chance of being happy and doing what we love.
