Demario Buchanan testifies as he attempts to withdraw his plea deal for second degree murder that he submitted on Jan. 19, 2016 to Judge William C. Marietti at Muskegon County Courthouse, Muskegon, Mich., Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016. Buchanan was charged with the Nov. 4, 2012 shooting death of Deonte E. Billups of Chicago in the 1200 block of Allen Avenue in Muskegon County. Judge Marietti had to look over prior court transcripts before he makes a decision on the motion. (Joel Bissell | MLive.com)
