"Gordian Warrior" is a Japanese anime television series that aired from 1979 to 1981, comprising 73 episodes. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic Earth where survivors rebuild communities in desolate wastelands. The protagonist, Daigo Otaki, inherits a super robot system called Gordian from his father and joins the Mechacon mechanic combat 18th regiment unit to defend Victor City against attacks from the Madokuta organization.

The series features a unique concept where the pilot, Daigo, controls a series of robot containers, starting from the small Protteser, then moving to the larger Delinger, and finally to the largest container, Garbin, when in trouble. The characters include Daigo, his sister Saori, and various members of the Mechacon unit.

Merchandise includes toy sets featuring the three robots and the human pilot. The series has also been referenced in other media, such as its reappropriation as Baikanfū in "Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos."
