During this seminar, Eleonora Milazzo presents key findings from the Migration Research to Policy Co-Lab project on how to strengthen research-policy collaboration within Horizon-funded projects on migration.
Drawing on interviews with researchers and research users involved in these projects, the presentation focuses on the relationship between research, policy and practice.
Specifically, the presentation looks at how researchers seek to distil their research messages and how they evaluate knowledge exchange in the Horizon programme. It also illustrates how policy actors and practitioners understand research findings and their communication, and whether and how they are able to use these findings in their work.
Based on the experiences of engagement of this diverse group of stakeholders, the presentation suggesst key takeaways on how to strengthen research-policy collaboration around research evidence on migration.
