This video briefly tells the story of daring 1958 photo recon raids on the Soviet Baltic coast by the F 11 Wing of the Swedish Airforce.
In the early fall of 1958, No. 3 Squadron of the Swedish strategic recce wing F 11 performed at least 30 low level, high speed photo raids over Warzaw Pact harbours, missile bases and radar installations on the East German, Polish, Kaliningrad, Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian coasts.
Until 2017, these raids were top secret and officially 'non-existant', until two pilots who took part in the operation approached the F11 Museum in Nyköping and told their story.
