The Climeon HeatPower technology is based on an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) process, which exploits the temperature difference between a hot and a cold source as well as the thermodynamic properties of an organic working media to generate renewable electricity. The working media used is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, non-flammable, and fulfills all SOLAS safety requirements.
