Modern Farmhouse TV Stand

Building a modern farmhouse TV stand for your home starts here. We used faux shiplap on the ends, sanded birch plywood and 1 by spruce material in this build. Farmhouse style furniture is very popular because it looks great and is functional. I built this modern Farmhouse TV stand based on my wife's design. She wanted a TV stand with clean lines with a modern feel, but the distressed look gives it that farmhouse decor feel. The fake shiplap ends adds to the uniqueness of this farmhouse furniture piece. Using this method allows you to make your own shiplap cheap. Let us show you our techniques for building this type of farmhouse console table.
