Today we're looking at just the basic Red 9 Mauser C/96 Broomhandle as it was manufactured during WWI for the Imperial German Army. This is a very high condition gun that obviously didn't see a lot of service, so it's a good example to point out the dull blue, the loss of overall quality, and the changes that Mauser made to this gun in the desperate times of WWI.
