2023 was the Isle of Man's Year of the Railways, celebrating 130 years of electric transport and 150 years of steam transport. The scenes in this video were recorded in the last week ofJuly on the Steam Railway. Engines seen in service are Beyer-Peacock 2-4-0Ts no.4 "Loch" (built 1874), no.11 "Maitland" (built 1905) and no.13 "Kissack" (built 1911). Special workings included recreations of the double-headed boat trains from Douglas to Port Erin and a short goods train working.
