These guys need a mom to tell them to sing the thankful song and count their blessings. But it was very clear that this is mainly about tickets sales, aka, greed.
Did everyone forget that this is a job? Yeah, a great job I wish I had, but still a job. How did it get into everyone’s minds that NBA careers are supposed to all be fairy tales? No hardships whatsoever. You should get to play with whomever you want. You should get to be coached by whomever you want, be in the city you want. Everyone is entitled to a Max contract. No one should have to take a lesser role than they think they deserve. No one should have to go through the hardship of having guys on the team they don’t like.
And EVERYONE deserves to have a documentary about them. Lol. Horace Grant. Who the fuck do you think you are. Glorified rebounder. You had Shaq and Penny and fell flat. You learned first hand what it was like not to have the guy who put winning above all.
Very sad to see old men shot on their own legacies.
It’s not just that these Bulls players are ungrateful, it’s not just that their late life bitterness is tarnishing how people want to remember them, it’s that they are willing to use the platform of shitting on someone and complaining as a way to make money. It’s all abut the ticket sales. Just listen to them. Ticket sales. Buy a ticket and you’ll know. Buy a ticket and you’ll know. I have a feeling people are going to be bored and disappointed. Just listen to Grant’s sales pitch.
So, here were are. 2024. Where whining to the world is no longer something to be shamed, but is something you can monetize.
Scottie did enough whining in the last dance. I played in dirt. It would be dusty. Lol. I couldn’t see. My migraine. I didn’t like that the play was called for me. I didn’t like the contract that I signed.
Last Dance was 10 hours long. The 91 Championship got 5 minutes. Just giving some perspective how hard it is to fit everything into a documentary.
