Me and Wyatt headed back to the Beryllium mine to dig around for some Beryl crystals. Inside we found many Muscovite books, quartz, Feldspar, Garnets, Autunite, Beryl and possible some low quality Aquamarine. Most of the good stuff was in a layer between the pegmatite body and the schist body. It took a bit of work breaking through the hard rock to extract any crystals. This mountain area consists of Granodiorite and schist. hopefully we can make it back to further explore the mountain.
** Going into mines can be very dangerous and is not recommended. Research, experience and awareness are all needed before entering a mine. This mine went back 400 feet and was a single tunnel. Always remember to be safe when exploring new areas. **
