Winning the King's Cup Air Race 2025!

The Championship decider for 2025! It was a close one!

Held at Wellesbourne Mountford Airfield, the Steward's Cup and the King's Cup for 2025. It was an incredibly tense weekend, we went into it as the championship leaders but our closest rival won the race on Saturday leaving us in a situation where only a win for the Kings Cup would see us take the championship. We hadn't won any race all year so it was a tall order!

This is the Van's RV-7 tailwheel aircraft that I built in my garage. Its first flight was in July 2023 and we now fly it everywhere we can visiting people and places and documenting our epic aviation adventures along the way for friends and family. We entered the British Air Racing Championship in 2024, winning the Schneider Trophy and coming second over all. We've just won the Kings CUp in 2025 and the overall Championship. I flew fighter jets for 20 years and now just enjoy flying around the country with my wife who is also a professional pilot although she lets me do most of the flying!
