IT'S ACADEMIC is back starting October 11, 2025!

Now in its 65th Season, It’s Academic showcases the best and brightest high school students from around the national capital region in a head-to-head intellectual competition. It’s Academic is hosted by Emmy-Award winning journalist Hillary Howard.

The Guinness Book of World Records has recognized It's Academic as the world's longest-running TV quiz show. Founded in 1961 by Sophie Altman, It’s Academic celebrates students’ academic achievements, encourages intellectual curiosity, and promotes a lifelong journey of learning and accomplishments.
