Swelltech Surfskates are said to be the most challenging to ride, but also the closest simulation to actual surfing among the many different options. I put the Austin Keen Tube model to the ultimate test in this review. My Review will go over the Deck, the Trucks, and Wheels that come stock on this SurfSkate complete, and then delve into the good and bad of its performance when it comes to pumping and carving on flatland right up to more advanced use in the skatepark, bowl riding, and tricks and grinds.
Special thanks to Pete Buckney for his help in describing the mechanics of Swelltech's system and why it feels so unlike the swing-arm and reverse kingpin style surfskates.
