⛵️ In this video, we tackle the challenge of unstepping the mast on our 34-year-old Catalina 28, a task that had us unsure where to start. With limited resources and no detailed guides on our specific boat, we relied on the expertise of our fellow sailors from Windjammer, who helped us every step of the way. From securing the backstay to loosening shroud pins and dealing with squirrely hardware, we document the entire process—some tense moments included! Watch as we create a custom solution to keep everything in place and successfully remove the mast, preparing our boat for the off-season.
