Surface Tech presents ASPHALT 101 - Pavements Then & Now. This is a three-part Webinar series focusing on making our roadways better through understanding, testing and innovation. The first part will be delivered by Phil Blankenship of Blankenship Asphalt Tech and Training and will focus on where our asphalt mix designs have come from to where they need to go for improvement. Phil will introduce two main performance tests, IDEAL CT for crack resistance and Hamburg Wheel Tracker for rut resistance and discuss innovations such as ACE XP Polymer Fiber and ARMI that will help the industry achieve a better balance between cracking and rutting designs moving forward.
