This evening I planned to do some light work in the pastures; however, as I arrived, the alpacas ran down to meet me at the entryway between the shelter and pasture three. They had something to tell me, and one way alpacas communicate is with a humming sound. I understood that they wanted to be fed, so I changed my plans and brought them some hay.
