Kiln Opening No. 22 – Thanksgiving Edition 🍂🔥
Happy Thanksgiving!
I had a super quick kiln opening this morning because I needed to grab my Shakudori swirl bowl to use for today’s dinner — but of course, I couldn’t resist peeking at everything else that came out of the kiln!
In this firing, I made a few new and exciting pieces:
• A single-serve popcorn bowl with a built-in sieve
• Another handmade pie pan
• A soap dispenser
• A few one-person casserole bowls (oven safe!)
• Several stew bowls
• And new mugs with a pink glaze combo, inspired by the beautiful work of Sarah Walton 💗
