This plane spotting video features an awesome, close-up turboprop engine start-up, as well as a Q300 takeoff and landing.
QantasLink operate a total of 15 Dash 8 Q300 turboprop aircraft. 10 are in active service, whilst 5 are parked. The Q300 fleet at QantasLink are powered by the Pratt & Whitney PW123E turboprop engines; the most powerful of the 123 series. It is a treat to be able to have such a close up vantage of the engine start-up.
