Arranging the wedding-
With Bangladesh, arranged marriage is arguably the most common form of marriage and is considered traditional in society.

Paan-Chini-
Paan Chini, Chini Paan or Sinifan is a tradition of giving guests two paan and yarn nuts for any auspicious occasion. Thus the name was derived from serving. Serving 'Paan' (betel leaf) with silver foil is a sign of festivity and it is common to bring sweets in such auspicious occasions. This gesture promises friendship and a sincere commitment.


Yellow on the body (yellow ceremony)-
This ritual is performed before the wedding ceremony or after the yellow ceremony on the body (Bengali: হলুদ গাই হলুদ,body yellow). There is one yellow ceremony for the bride and another for the groom. For the Holocaust on the bride's body, the groom's family - except the groom himself - goes in procession to the bride's house. They carry with them some wedding decorations including the bride's wedding dress / dress, yellow paste (which has lightly touched the groom's body), candy / sweets and gifts.
They also take big hilsa or rohu fish decorated by the bride. After the two 'yellow ceremonies', the bride and groom are bathed in the water that the women bring from the waterway very early in the morning. This tradition has local variations, such as providing a certain number of fish to the party responsible for cooking, and therefore the best time to provide fresh fish to the groom's family.The procession is traditionally centered on the bride's female relatives and friends and the paste is prepared by five married women named 'Yo-Stri' and they traditionally usually wear orange. The bride sits on a shill-nora, and the women walk around her, raining drops of Ganga water on the bride.
Yellow paste is applied on the skin of the bride by her friends. It is said to soften the skin, but it also gives it a distinctive yellow color, which gives it its name. Then one by one the bride is fed sweets. A banquet is then served for the guests. Married women present can also stain each other with yellow paste. On this day, girls also decorate their hands, arms and legs with Alta (dye) or Henna (also known as Mehndi).


Wedding ceremony-
The wedding ceremony (Bangla: wedding or marriage marriage / marriage) is followed by the yellow (lit,applied to the yellow skin) ceremony. The bride's family organizes the wedding ceremony. The groom, along with his friends and family (bridesmaids), traditionally arrives later in the evening.A car is sent to the groom on behalf of the bride and he rides inside it with two elderly male relatives, one on behalf of the bride and the other in his own family (called his burqa), as well as a groom dressed as the youngest male member of his family. Traditionally known as the "best man" as his net bore). Before leaving for the wedding venue, the groom is blessed by his mother and she formally asks permission to start a new life with her soon-to-be `Better Half'.
At the Muslim wedding, the groom's mother leaves with the groom and takes him to the bride's house.
However, unlike in Hindu ceremonies, in Muslim ceremonies the mother of the groom presents the bride with jewelry and sari and then she goes to change her wedding sari and jewelry. After meeting the groom and his father and the bride's father, the bride pays a certain amount as her dowry to formally sign the dowry agreement.


The next morning (preferably before noon), a (Bashi Biya) or is held, and the new couple leaves for the groom's house that evening. This is known as the bidaay(lit., goodbye or farewell) ceremony.

When the bridegroom receives the bride on the morning of (Bou Bhater), the bridegroom begins a ritual called (Bhat Kapoor) where he presents the bride with the essentials of the bride, sari and other goodies on a plate. Silver (these things are given only by the husband and not by the bride's in-laws); Nowadays they use other metals like brass etc.This indicates that the groom will therefore take care of all the needs and requirements of his bride from that day onwards. After receiving all these things from the husband, the bride takes blessings from her husband and so begins the ritual of (wife rice).
