BAFTA-winner Anthony McCarten has written scripts about Winston Churchill, scientist Stephen Hawking and the band Queen. In this ScreenTalk Short interview, McCarten talks about early criticism from Worzel Gummidge actor Jon Pertwee, directing suicide tale Nocturne in a Room, and turning his own play Via Satellite into his first feature film.
