Joan Armatrading's song "Read It Write", B-side of the "Love By You" single, recorded here from a mint copy of the 10" UK vinyl release AMY 269.
I was a bit disappointed when I bought this single in 1985, as I was hoping for some really good sound quality... instead both sides had quite a lot of snap, crackle and pop even when new. This copy has been played 3 times.
However, it's a good song and sits nicely alongside the "Secret Secrets" album of the same year.
Recorded direct to computer (no editing or noise reduction). Project Debut 2 turntable with Ortofon OM10 cartridge, Presonus Audiobox 22VSL interface.
