The festivities of Janmashtami, focusing on the traditional breaking of the earthen pot filled with yogurt. primary, celebrated Janmashtami on 16th August 2025 by playing Dahi Handi in school premises. Janmashtami is celebrated on account of Lord Krishna’s Birth.
Children came dressed as Radha or Krishna and enjoyed breaking Dahi handi followed by eating dahikala – the snacks.
These events foster teamwork, courage, and unity among students. Schools often organize cultural programs, decorate the premises, and encourage student participation.
