Es hora de "perses": El regreso del tren Celuloso de FEPASA a Alameda (08-09.04.2024)

(ES) Tras los trabajos de reparación de puentes afectados por las crecidas de ríos el año pasado y la posterior autorización por parte de EFE, desde este lunes 08 de abril han vuelto a circular trenes cargados con paquetes de Celulosa desde San Javier, Región del Maule, hasta el terminal SITRANS en Lo Espejo, Región Metropolitana, a cargo del porteador de cargas FEPASA.

Esto, sumado al hito del retorno del carguío desde Nueva Aldea prontamente, es parte de la reactivación de los servicios ferroviarios en la Línea Central Sur que se está llevando a cabo desde hace 3 meses atrás.

A continuación, una mini persecución a dicho tren citado, comandado por la locomotora ALCo D-1804, entre las cercanías de San Fernando y Gultro, en la Región de O'Higgins.

(EN) Following repair work on bridges affected by last year's river floods and subsequent authorisation by EFE (the state-owned railway company), trains loaded with cellulose packages have been running again since Monday 08 April from San Javier, Maule Region, to the SITRANS terminal in Lo Espejo, Metropolitan Region, under the responsibility of the freight carrier FEPASA.

This, together with the milestone of the early return of loading from Nueva Aldea, is part of the reactivation of rail services on the Central South Line that has been underway for the last 3 months.

The following is a mini-chase of the aforementioned train, pulled by ALCo D-1804 diesel locomotive, between the vicinity of San Fernando and Gultro, in the O'Higgins Region.
