RARE BOOK TIME (S1 E1): Welcome to our new series

Welcome to our new video series about life in and around Lighthouse Books, ABAA in Dade City, Florida. We were just getting settled into our new home when the coronavirus pandemic hit, and so we've been kind of isolated -- just like everyone else.

Although the pandemic is still with us, there are signs that things are improving, and for that we're very thankful.

We're practicing social distancing (which, in the store, is not that difficult given that most people have been staying away). We're being careful to disinfect often, and (at this writing) face masks are still required.

Your health and safety is our primary concern, so we're diligently following all the guidelines. You can visit us with confidence that our store is a safe environment.

We're looking forward to seeing you.

With this video, we launch our new series, Rare Book Time. Each episode we'll take some time to explore some of the treasures you can find in Lighthouse Books, ABAA. We're recording this LIVE each Friday about 11:30 a.m. EDT and posting it on Facebook. Later, we'll download it and repost on our YouTube channel, which is where you must be now.

We invite you to take the time to poke around on our YouTube channel and discover what else might interest you. We've been posting here for several years, and we've accumulated a collection of videos people tell us they have found useful. We hope you will, too.
