This video is a step by step guide on changing the fluid and filters of the Automatic CVT Transmission on a 2017 to 2024 Suzuki Swift GL (AZ Series).
I show you everything you need to know. This includes the method, Parts, Materials, Tools, Equipment and PPE.
I’ll tell you all the torque specifications for all bolts.
This job may take you 3 hours in total.
I would consider this job as moderate difficulty. If you can do more than an Engine Oil change it should not be too hard.
If you’re experiencing issues like the car feeling sluggish, bouncing revs, unsure what gear to go in. Then you might want to consider changing your CVT Fluid and Filters.
It’s recommended by CVT Specialist to Change the Fluid and Filters every 50000kms. The Manufacture doesn’t mention this as it raises the servicing cost for the vehicle which will affect their sales. They do this because they know the gearbox will still last more than 100000kms or past the warranty period before it breaks.
But if you want your CVT transmission to last past that, then Servicing it will make it last for a lot longer and restore its operation making it smoother.
This process will be the same or similar in many other cars that have the same JATCO CVT7 JF015E such as the Mitsubishi Mirage, Suzuki Ignis, Nissan Pulsar and many more! This Gearbox is in so many cars.

The 2017 to 2024 Swift GLX Turbo and Swift Sport have a traditional Auto Gearbox.
