Vampire Killer - Castlevania - Epic Metal Guitar/Violin Cover by Chris Snyder and Guilherme Roditis

Been working on a few songs including this Castlevania metal/violin cover with my friend and colleague Guilherme Roditis. We've done covers of a few Satriani songs, but this is the first time we've ever covered a video game song together.

I've never actually played the original Castlevania for NES (which is where "Vampire Killer" is from) but I've played Castlevania: Circle of the Moon and it was amazing (aside from the fact that I gave up on Dracula at the end because he was too fuckin hard).

Gui suggested a bunch of songs from classic games and this was my fav. It reminded me of the Power Rangers theme a bit, and I def felt like it could be made into a metal/rock song since it sounds pretty dark yet energizing. This was also the first time i've mixed/mastered anything by myself since over a year now, so it was def a challenge but I learned a lot from it.
