Deep-dive into how ISO works for log video in cameras. I highlight N-Log but the information applies to all log formats, including S-Log, C-Log, V-Log, etc... This is the first part of a series, where I hope to take the mystique out of log video and make it as easy to use as regular video.

Corrections:
08:46 - Note that although the BM cameras switch to the second gain level at ISO 1250, the actual native ISO levels for each gain level are ISO 400 and 3200. This means ISOs 100 through 320 and ISOs 1250 through 2500 are "expanded" ISOs, which I describe in the "ISOs below native ISO" section.
