Acetate from 1956, he released one rockabilly record in 1955 "Moo Mama", with strong influence from Presleys SUN recordings. Ben Hall (1924-2010) was from Alvord, Texas. He moved to Lubbock, Texas in 1953 where he met Buddy Holly who joined his band as a member for a short time. Ben wrote Buddy Hollys first Decca release, Blue Days, Black Nights. Ben Hall was also the one who shot the famous footage of Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Buddy Holly in Lubbock in 1955. It was some of the earliest film footage of Elvis performing.
