Firefly is a Martin Evans designed model of a GWR class 4575 2-6-2 small Prairie locomotive.
I have assembled a few photos of the main frame being built.
The main frames are laser cut. There are two reasons why I decided to buy laser cut frames.
1. Life's to short to spend the time marking out, chain drilling, filing etc.
2. If the frames are not correct, nothing else will be.
Castings and drawings for this model are available from
GLR Kennions Ltd.
The next video will be available when I have some more progress to show.
