BREAKING: Environment Canada Issues 4-Day Extreme Cold Warning for Labrador - Longest Duration of Arctic Outbreak
While southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba have been downgraded from orange to yellow warnings, Labrador is just entering its worst phase with wind chills between -40°C and -50°C from Saturday through Tuesday.
This update covers 6 HIGH IMPACT warnings still in effect across Canada, including northern Alberta, northern Manitoba, northern Ontario, and the critical dual threat in southern Ontario where extreme cold combines with 10-20cm of lake effect snow.
Wind chills of -40°C to -50°C can cause frostbite in under 2 minutes on exposed skin. Check weather.gc.ca for the latest updates.
