CARO EMERALD Wake Up Romeo

Back in November of 2018 I created a post for this song, taken from a live performance by the uber talented and beautiful Caro Emerald. More than 18 months later, the studio version is finally released to the world. 'Wake Up Romeo' is quintessential Caro - with its jazzy and R&B morphing, and an irresistible beat. Caro Emerald was my favourite artist of the 2010's - first discovering 'Back It Up' in 2011 just weeks before going through one of the most traumatic events of my life. Her music and sense of fun have given me immeasurable delight and solace in the decade since. Even though at this point she still only has two long play albums issued, I have pounced upon any recording, performance or remix that this Dutch singer has released; and have more than 30 clips bearing her name on my channel.
