Egg Collection is an important procedure done during the treatment cycle of IVF/ICSI for a patient. After taking hormonal injections, the final injection called a TRIGGER is administered to the patients. The procedure for the Egg Collection is done about 36-37 hours post the Trigger. The procedure is done under either local or general Anesthesia. It’s a quick procedure and it takes over 3-5 mins. The patients are usually discharged within 2 hours post the procedure.
