The St Mellitus Organ Restoration Project presents a song series to lift the spirits, at a time when many of us are at home.
Renowned Mezzo Soprano Patricia Hammond and her musical partner Matt Redman perform the first in a series of seven songs about home, from the beautiful surroundings of St Mellitus church in Stroud Green, home to the First World War memorial organ. The organ was built in 1920 to commemorate the men from the parish who fought in the First World War, and is currently being restored in time for its centenary in December 2020.
The project is generously supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
