My discover of this amazing man began when I found his century old calling card. What I found out amazed me. He is one of the most fascinating people associated with Georgia history I have researched! He was the youngest recipient of a diploma from the University of Georgia. He was a Civil War soldier, an educator, a university builder, a university president, a farmer, a business owner, and most importantly to him-a preacher. This is his amazing story- that all started with my discovery of his card!
