One of our skin patients in her mid 20s asked if the 7 step skincare regime trend on social media is really worth it? Is there any other routine which can save time for office goers like her?

I come across such skin problems everyday. Youngsters visit and their first question is always about how they can maintain a simple skincare routine without making it messy and expensive!

Here's the solution!

Skincare doesn't have to be so elaborate. You can keep it simple and still see results.

Cleanser: Buy a hydrating gentle cleanser if you're not sure of your skin type. If you have an oily skin type, include a salicylic acid based cleanser in your regime 🧴

Moisturizer: Moisturizing is very important when it comes to skincare regime. Add a hydrating moisturizer in your daily routine. 🧴

Sunscreen: Buy a sunscreen with SPF 50 and apply it every 3 hour indoor or outdoors. 🧴

Exfoliation: Gentle AHA/BHA peels like glycolic acid and lactic acid can be included in your skincare regime every week.

Retinol: Start a small amount of retinol once a week at night and you can gradually increase its usage as per your experience.

For additional skin concerns, you might require medications, oral or topical treatments as well. Consult your dermatologist for a better assessment.
