Military Plane Near-Miss Triggers OBE, Out-of-Body Experience & STE ~ Chief Tony Woody

Chief Tony Woody shared his powerful Out-of-Body Experience (OBE) & Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STEs) triggered by a military plane near-miss with Spiritual Awakenings International on November 15, 2025.

Tony’s STE occurred two days after a large four engine military aircraft nearly crashed. This close call initiated an OBE during the aircraft mishap. Two days later Tony had a life-changing STE, when a spiritual gateway into the loving benevolent Divine Light spontaneously opened. Woody instantly knew he was in the presence of his Creator. In many ways, his direct encounter with God’s divine unconditional Love was more traumatic and confusing than the deep terror he felt during the nearly deadly airplane incident. It's taken several decades to fully integrate the experience and be able to talk about what he saw and felt in the Light.

US Navy Chief Petty Officer (Ret.) Tony Woody is originally from East Texas. He received numerous honors and awards throughout his extensive military career and logged over 10,000 flight hours traveling the globe. Chief Woody retired from the US Navy in 1997 after 22 years of honorable service. He and his lovely wife, Lisa, live near the southern seacoast of New Hampshire and recently celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary.
