A Panda's World: Toronto ZOO Up Close

Giant pandas Da Mao and Er Shun arrived in Toronto from China in March 2013 as part of a global conservation breeding program. Five years later, Er Shun made history by giving birth to two adorable cubs on Canadian soil! These black-and-white cuties delighted millions of visitors at the Toronto Zoo.

📏 Fun fact: The first cub weighed 187.7 grams, while the second was just 115 grams at birth!

Now, the pandas have moved to the Calgary Zoo, where they will spend the remaining years of their 10-year loan from China.
