WWII was one of the most traumatic episodes in the world's history. 660,000 Kazakhs died fighting the Nazies, and as a result, there are numerous "glory parks" have been built all over this great nation to remember their legacies. Today, we will tour Atyrau's glory park, gaze at some old Soviet war machines, pay our respects to the eternal flame, and take an intimate look at the monuments to the fallen heroes. Come with me on this historical walk as we remember these dark times in our world's history.
