Dr. Fred Paez, President of Philippine Executive Chess Association, taught some Rotarians "The Benefits of CHESS" on May 26, 2021.
Charter President Renalyn B. David of the Rotary Club of Nuvali (RCN) served as the over-all Moderator.
To show their support to fellow Transforming President (TP) Sam Balboa of RCN, three TPs under District Governor Renato Sarmiento Atienza of Rotary International District 3820 attended. They were TP Fatima Gammad Acuña of the Rotary Club of Lipa West, TP Eboy Tan of the Rotary Club of Lucena North, and TP Guia Lopez de Leon of the Rotary Club of San Pedro South.
Indeed, Chess can empower our minds and can help us cope up especially in this time of pandemic.
