Parth and Shreya first met as little kids in school — same class from kindergarten to grade 2, swapping stories, tiffins, and crayons without having any idea how important they’d become to each other one day. Life took them apart for a while, but destiny clearly had other plans. In the first year of their undergrad, their paths crossed again… and this time, they never drifted away.

From late-night hackathons and coffee runs to flying across oceans for their master’s degrees, it always felt like they were building something bigger than just their careers — they were building a life together. After almost five years of being side by side through every tiny victory and every meltdown, Parth decided it was time to turn “them” into “forever.”

Shreya thought she was flying from California to New York City just to catch up with her childhood friends. What she didn’t know was that Times Square — a place that had always felt magical to them with its chaos, colour, and energy — was about to become the backdrop to the biggest surprise of her life.

Right in the middle of Times Square, under giant billboards and a sky full of city lights, she saw not just her friends… but almost every important person from their lives who had travelled across cities and countries to be there for them — their parents, their closest friends, their day-one people. Surrounded by all of them, with her heart racing and the world blurring out, Parth asked Shreya to be his partner for life. And there, in the heart of a city that never sleeps, their “yes” became the beginning of a new chapter. 💍
