INFORMATION FOR SAFARI ENTHUSIASTS
i) Dudhwa national Park is closed on Tuesday.
ii) Safari Booking of both Dudhwa and Kishanpur WLS can be done from 'upecotourism.in', the official website. Also the safari booking can be done from the counter at the gate on the same day.
iii) Palia is the nearest big town with multiple resort options.
iv) Summer safaris are better for Tiger Sightings.
v) Winter safaris are better for bird photography and enjoying the landscape.
Synopsis:
Dudhwa National Park of Uttar Pradesh India, has rich biodiversity and pristine jungles. The region was a British hunting area before independence and was used as a place of recreational hunting activities for the elites of pre-independent India.
The story 'Dudhwa: Ek Sapno Ka Jungle' (Dudhwa : A Dreamy Forest), covers the story of this beautiful forest from its historical importance to its present wildlife values. The film also highlights the Rhino Conservation Success story of India exploring the future possibilities.
The film was shot in Summer and Winter season reflecting a sharp contrast in the wildlife sightings and activities during different time of the year.
In addition the film gives a conservation message and education about the various species and their inter relationship.
