The Kerbal Space Association recently made a decision. They cut all funding to the Vulcan project (Moho exploration) and are now focusing all efforts on landing a Kerbal on Duna and returning him to Kerbin... alive. Years later the mission begins. No flight has ever been this serious, this long, and this pointlessly overcomplicated.

-Launch

-Orbit around Kerbin at 70-75 Km

-Trans munar burn

-Mun slingshot with light correction burn

-Crew EVA to inspect vehicle

-Crew EVA into hibernation unit

-Kerbin escape

-Duna encounter

-Crew EVA out of hibernation unit

-Deceleration burn

-Lander rendezvous at 310Km

-Crew member 1 EVA into lander

-Lander de-orbit burn

-Lander enters Duna atmosphere

-Lander's parachute deploys while heat shield falls away

-Lander's deceleration stage fires

-Lander's deceleration stage empty and jettisoned

-Lander's touchdown stage fires

-Lander's landing gear drops down

-Lander touches down on Duna

-Two weeks of sciencey things on Duna

-Lander takes off

-Lander's touchdown stage empty and jettisoned

-Lander continues into orbit

-Crew member of transit vehicle Eva out of hibernation

-Lander rendezvous at 310Km

-Crew member EVA from lander to transit

-Duna ejection burn

-Crew EVA to hibernation

-Duna escape

-Crew EVA out of hibernation

-Kerbin encounter

-Deceleration burn

-Kerbin orbit at 71Km

-De-orbit burn

-Detach capsule

-Kerbin re-entry

-Capsule parachute deploys

-Capsule gently touches down on Kerbin
