STARGAZER teaser

TEASER for my latest Documentary, “STARGAZER” a film I have been shooting w/ @planetags since March.

In making this film, I will add that I have benefited greatly from the hard work of Veterans. Beginning with my father, Lt Col Gene Miranda (Ret). It is through my father I met Veteran and NASA Astronaut, Col Eileen Collins. What a huge honor and pleasure to work with Col Collins. Collins became the first female Space Shuttle Commander (NASA's STS-93), which is just one from a list of unprecedented firsts, (NASA, US AIR FORCE). Please read her book ‘Through the Glass Ceiling to the Stars” and see her movie ‘SPACEWOMAN’ !

We all owe a bit of gratitude to Veterans. Thank you to Col Collins and Lt Col Miranda, my many veteran friends, and all of course, all veterans past and present.

I also want to thank the amazing Scobee Education Center and NASA’s Ames Research Center who’s kind staff and operations departments, graciously opened their doors for us to film this documentary.

In this clip Col Collins explains her strategic approach to securing the left seat of an aircraft that was previously not available to women military pilots.
