This project is a little different as it doesn't feature much in the way of fine woodworking, but I hope you'll enjoy it none the less.
I rarely throw away anything that I think might come in useful and so I have various tubs and boxes of odd scraps of wood stashed around the work shop.
In this project I make use of some of the scraps by making a set of coasters.
I make a sleeve by constructing a tall sapele mitred box and then fill it with scrap wood and epoxy resin.
