Together, they celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. Mark’s Cathedral and reaffirmed a powerful journey that began decades ago—to strengthen our bonds and raise the united Orthodox voice across the globe. 🌍✝️

From Antioch to Armenia, Cairo to Lebanon, these meetings have kept our shared history alive and our faith stronger than ever. May God continue to bless this holy mission of growing, adapting, and thriving together in faith. 🙏🔥
"This gathering has been since 1998 joining the patriarchs of the Middle East. We do not have any separation or schism among our oriental orthodox family. Actually many of the Ethiopians and Eritreans were attending this gathering. The reason it is called Eastern it is geographic and not dogma for faith related. Unfortunately, the word oriental and Eastern when translated into Arabic, both are similar to the word eastern. That may result in the confusion. CYC discussed with the papal desk spokesperson, who recommended that we explain the above mentioned.
