I walked around the car countless circles and finally started from somewhere. I was first curious about the panel that was riveted on to the roof. Expert came over day before and saw right away, that there is an old sunroof underneath it. I already had my hopes up for turret and a machinegun combo.
So headlining was the first to come off to see what was underneath it. Also the roof is the last place to look for rust, so not to ruin my day in the beginning.
Especially if it's not the original roof.
It's fun to take things apart. I also try to have a system of screws and bolts going in separate boxes. Some screws I can throw away, as they are regular drywall screws. But if it holds, it holds.
Headlining I wanted to throw out, but expert stopped me and mentioned that these are nice compared to some and there is always market for everything. Even if they were soaking wet.
At the back corner there was some DIY panel. Most likely for military radio holder. It took some time to get it off.
Also the seats were struggle, as rust started to kick in. Nuts were straight in the wheel arches and WD40 soaking did not help.
Side covers were easy. Except one part were I did not notice two screws before I undid the seatbelt and the whole thing started to brake off.
Lot's of wires, that did not had purpose on sealing. Most likely had at one point.
In conclusion - Fun and relaxing operation.
