Sahara Desert Tour Day 1 | Atlas Mountains Morocco Travel Day | المغرب

We began our journey from Marrakech, Morocco to Erg Chigaga in the Sahara Desert by driving through the Atlas Mountains and stopping off to tour a few notable sites and kasbahs.

Ait Benhaddou might look familiar to some film fans - dozens of movies have been filmed there including The Mummy, Gladiator, Babel, and dozens more.

We wrapped up Day 1 of our Sahara Desert tour in a comfortable riad where we enjoyed a home cooked dinner.
