Danakil Depression - Hottest place on earth 🇪🇹

At 410 feet below sea level, it's one of Africa's lowest points, and arguably one of Earth's most extreme landscapes.

Travelling here is quite adventurous and offbeat - I slept on makeshift cot under the stars since there are no hotels here. There are no proper washrooms either. You cannot take a shower for the couple of days that you are there. It does get to you because you’d already be very sweaty due to the extreme weather. I carries a lot of face wipes with me and wiped my body with it. Also you would need a lot of water, a lot! Our guide nicely arranged everything for us!
