Highlighting the girls of our lovely Lagotto Litter

At 10 weeks old these Lagotto beauties are thriving and their little characters are really starting to shine through.
This video is supposed to highlight the girls in the litter, but as ever we have an escape artist in our boy yellow, closely followed by his partner in crime silver… so one of their escape attempts also features.
It’s a slightly longer edit than usual so feel free to watch in double speed and slow down when you feel like it… 😄

The girls got away from the lads for a bit of a pamper session where they had ‘a blast’ after which they all crashed out for a snooze before rejoining the litter after a play about in the kitchen. Enjoy!

We are looking forward to visits from prospective families/homes for these guys this weekend.

I was on an interesting online session of The National Dog Breeder Convention 2025 this evening where the age at which pups move to their new homes was under consideration. I definitely believe there is value in getting to know each pup’s character and taking that into consideration when selecting suitable families/homes and while 8 weeks is viable I reckon a few more weeks with the litter and breeder is healthy for this purpose.

It’s such a privilege to be able to introduce this breed to those who have done their research and decided to ‘go Lagotto’… a decision I will never regret. I’m always happy to chat to enquirers and talk about why this is THE best breed of dog in the world (ok I may be a bit biased)
